A bank's billboard outside an underground station has gone viral for its choice of cartoon character.
Twitter user, Ricky Haggett, spotted the advert which features Top Cat and his 'Tip Top' catchphrase outside Walthamstow Central Station today (April 27).
Mr Haggett pointed out the irony between a bank selling mortgages and its choice of Top Cat who famously “lived in a bin”.

A Halifax spokesperson said: "No other bank could run this new campaign.
"It reflects perfectly our personality and is a real celebration of how our friendly and down to earth colleagues support everyone."
