Two to Tune

Two to tune is an adrenaline-charged game, focused on a confrontation between two competitor-collaborators, an homage to the feeling of magnetic synchronicity it’s possible to experience with another person. Commissioned by The Place, this sports-inspired duet sees two dancers playfully locked together in a dance densely packed with fiercely contrasting flashes of images: an animal spying on prey; pogo dancers sharing a groove; lovers breathing; wrestlers as they embrace; kids playing rock, paper, scissor; magnets as they attract and repulse. This quick-fire imagery stitches the work together to create an intense, sweaty and vigorous performance
