It’s a cold and cloudy morning in east London today (November 24), but there is some sunshine to look forward to later on.

Weather

It’s going to be cloudy all day, with temperature highs of 11 degrees this afternoon.

There will be some sunshine this morning, but temperatures remain low.

Tube

There are minor delays on the Central Line westbound because of an earlier faulty train at Marble Arch.

There are also minor delays on the Piccadilly Line because of a shortage of trains.

A normal service has resumed on the Victoria Line after minor delays because of a track fault at Highbury & Islington.

Traffic

There is slow traffic on the A12 into London between Beehive Lane and the A406 North Circular Road (Redbridge Roundabout).

Expect heavy traffic on the A13 into London from the A117 Woolwich Manor Way (Beckton Flyover) to the Canning Town Flyover / East India Dock Tunnel.

There is a broken down lorry on the A1202 Commercial Street southbound at Fournier Street (Old Spitalfields Market), but traffic can still get past.

There’s the normal amount of queueing traffic on the M11 southbound between Junction 6 M25 and Junction 4 A406 North Circular (South Woodford).

Temporary traffic lights and junction improvements are in place on the A124 Barking Road at the A117 junction with Ron Leighton Way. Three-way lights, for work to repaint the box junction, until 6pm on November 25.

In north London there is heavy traffic on the A406 North Circular Road westbound between the A10 (Great Cambridge Junction, Palmers Green) and the A109 Bounds Green Road (New Southgate).
