SWIMMERS from a district swimming club have been praised by their coach after a record turnout at a competition over three weekends.
More than 60 swimmers from Epping Forest District Swimming club competed in the Essex County Championships that took place in the London Aquatic centre over the previous three weekends, in which all of their swimmers finished in the top ten or higher.
Russell Davis, coach, said: “The club is extremely proud of the swimmers achievements, and we look forward to building on these successes in the future.
“The club are very pleased with the results. They represent the outcomes of the training and dedication of swimmers, coaches and parents.”
The club are currently training for East Region competitions in April, and a national level competition in August.
