East London home raided after terrorism officers arrest man at London Heathrow Airport
A HOME in east London has been raided after terrorism officers arrested a man at Heathrow Airport.
Officers arrested the 30-year-old last night at Heathrow as he got off a flight from Istanbul in Turkey.
The man was arrested on suspicion of preparing for terrorist acts and terrorist training.
He was taken to a south London police station where he is detained under the Police and Criminal Evidence (PACE).
The Met is currently searching an address in east London in connection with the arrest.
