WEEKEND Tube users faced delays after two people were spotted walking on the tracks.
British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Wanstead Tube Station at 6.40am yesterday (June 25) to investigate reports of trespassers.
Police cars surrounded the station while officers suspended trains between Hainault/Woodford and Liverpool Street to look for the couple around Wanstead and Snaresbrook.
The line reopened an hour later after no one could be found.
Enquiries are still ongoing and anyone with any information should text BTP on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 118 of 25/06/2017.
