PRODUCERS of a film are looking for the public’s help to bring their project to the big screen.
Breathe, which was shot in Walthamstow, tells the story of a young woman struggling to come to terms with the death of her neighbour. She turns to his brother in an effort to find closure.
The film is partly funded by Waltham Forest Council’s Eastern Edge Film Fund and Film London. It is part of this year’s London Calling project for short films.
Although filming costs have been met, a further £1,500 is needed for post-production work such as editing, visual effects, music and sound design.
In return for a donation, the crew promises posters, postcards and invites to the cast and crew screening of Breathe.
Perks of donating also include a meal at Mirth, Marvel & Maud pub and cinema in Hoe Street, Walthamstow and a hamper including a DVD of the film and goodies from Eat 17 in Orford Road, Walthamstow.
