MEMBERS from two community projects joined forces to create an artistic display.
Katherine Poluck and Karen Humpage pooled their talents, creating a mural above a herb planter made out of a water tank on the side of Wanstead tube station.
The artists brought together Art Trail Wanstead and Wanstead Community Gardeners’ herb planters.
Donna Mizzi, founder of Art Group Wanstead said: “The mural was to draw attention to the herbs.”
Karen also painted the tank containing the herbs, which commuters can pick.
