A FREE meeting on how to protect women’s reproductive rights is to take place to mark 50 years since key legislation.
The East London Humanists are marking the 50th anniversary of the Abortion Act 1967 with a meeting revisiting pro-choice arguments.
June Mitchell, a nurse of over 30 years who first became active on abortion issues in 1974 while pregnant, will introduce the discussion.
The meeting starts at 7pm on Monday, September 25 at Wanstead Library.
