A football club will host a collection this weekend for people to donate their spare coats to those struggling to stay warm this winter.
Leyton Orient has teamed up with Wrap Up London to gather men’s, women’s and children’s coats in time for Christmas.
In December the coats are delivered to charities and community organisations helping the homeless, elderly, refugees and families living in poverty and fleeing domestic violence.
The campaign is now in its 7th year and there is a particular need for men’s coats this winter.
Coats can be dropped off at the SCORE Centre in Oliver Road, Leyton from Saturday, November 18 to Tuesday, November 21.
