Four teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of burglary at the former Walthamstow dog track.

The suspects, aged between 13 and 16, were detained on Sunday evening over a suspected burglary at the site, which has been redeveloped for housing.

Met officers say they had been patrolling the area after reports of drug taking, anti-social behaviour and burglary from nearby residents.

The boys have since been released from custody, pending further investigation.
