STUDENTS learned how to handle the dangerous potential of mobile phones in an interactive workshop.
Members of Redbridge Drama Centre in South Woodford performed “Playing with Fire” to year sevens at Kantor King Solomon Secondary School on Monday, March 5.
The play focused on the easy mistakes that can be made with phones and how powerful they can be.
The Barkingside pupils then took part in a workshop, learning how to use phones in a more positive way.
Naomi Carmel-Brown, head of year seven, says: “I’m so pleased Redbridge Drama Centre were able to deliver this workshop to our students. When a child is given their first mobile phone it can often be overwhelming.
"They suddenly have access to so much and often an innocent message or text can come with many repercussions that a child may not even think about. I hope this gave our students food for thought."
