One of the best cider pubs in the country has been crowned the county's finest boozer.
The Woodbine in Honey Lane, Waltham Abbey, was crowned Essex's best pub by Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
The certificate presentation follows a string of award winning years which peaked last year, when it was named fourth best cider pub in the country.
Landlord Rob Chapman said: "It is extremely good news and it is a really big achievement.
"Five years ago we could only dream of winning an thought we never would."
To celebrate the occasion, 132 pints were given away free last Saturday.
