The newly opened Harrow Work Hub is to host a lunch hour mingle for men and women who “kick ass” to come together meet, connect and talk business.
The networking event will take place today at 12pm. Kickass Women is a member’s event and a Facebook group.
The concept was originally developed by Katie Moritz who wanted to do “more” for women and connect together all the people she met while working in PR and as a working mum.
The business is owned by Naima Omasta-Milsom and although it is mainly aimed at businesswomen they plan to open their doors to men.
Katie said: “Kickass men who care about justice, women rights and feminism are always welcome."
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage they will also be giving a talk about the lives of women in 21st Century especially now in the “age of Trump”.
