A car that was saved and brought back to standard after rotting in a barn has been stolen.
Six years ago Noah Robinson emptied his savings account purchasing and then rebuilding a dilapidated classic Mini.
On Wednesday (July 25) afternoon at 12.45pm he parked it on Broadmead Road in Woodford Green.
An hour and a half later neighbours heard what they believed to be the car starting.
At 4.22pm Mr Robinson returned to find his beloved car gone.
His sister Ella Robinson said: "He has put his blood, sweat, tears and every penny he has earned into returning the car to its former glory and then turning it into a high performing track car.
"It really is his pride and joy.
"We are really just trying to push the word out to see if anyone has seen it."
A spokesperson for the police confirmed the theft and said no arrests have been made.
