A Redbridge man is among two people to be charged with terror offences as part of an ongoing operation.
Ahmed Aweys, 32, was charged with three offences of dissemination of terrorist publications, contrary to section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Abdulaziz Omer Munye, 26, of north London was charged with one offence under section 2 of Terrorism Act 2006.
Both men were charged yesterday (Thursday August 9) and will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates today (Friday August 10).
Earlier, at 10am on Thursday the Met's Counter Terrorism Command arrested a 30-year-old woman on suspicion of collection of information, contrary to section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000. She remains in police custody.
As part of the same operation, a 29-year-old man from east London was arrested on April 18 on suspicion of terror offences. He remains on bail to return to a south-London police station in mid-August.
