A tennis club has unveiled a new mini-court and practice wall.
On September 15 the new junior training facilities were opened at Buckhurst Hill Tennis Club.
They were installed following an array of upgrades in the last two years including newly laid courts, refurbished changing facilities and a spruced up tennis hut.
Mark Hicks, chairman, thanked the district council and Essex Lawn Tennis Association for financially supporting the upgrades, club members who had pushed for the improvements and head coach Inga Ziemina.
He said: "Without a doubt, Inga is an inspirational, quality coach who, in the short time she has been here has transformed our junior section, many of whom we hope will be the future generation for the club.
"Alongside this, through Inga, the club offers coaching to beginners, those new to tennis or rusty, and improvers, allowing everyone in our community who wants to play tennis a place to play."
