A photo capturing a stunning sunset in a national park has scooped first prize in a photography competition.
David Tyrrell who snapped the image in Norfolk Broads said: "I arrived an hour early but the sky was very grey. However, slowly, very slowly this magnificent display unfolded.”
Mr Tyrrell was named as the winner of Woodford and Wanstead Photographic Society’s monthly competition in October.
Pauline Martindale of the East Anglia Federation was given the difficult task of picking first prize and decided ‘Norfolk Broads Sunset’ was the most deserving.
She said: “Once again, WWPS has produced another excellent show of photographs for their competition. David has captured the tranquil scene beautifully.”
