Students at an all-girls school raised almost £800 for Comic Relief by donning their own red non-uniforms and squeaky noses.
Pupils at Eden Girls' School in Waltham Forest marked Red Nose Day on Friday (March 15) by adopting a 'wear red' theme for the non-uniform day.
They also sold the notorious characterised red noses.
In total, the day raised £788.44 for Comic Relief.
Shahina Ahmad, principal of the school in Walthamstow, said: "The pupils have really been exercising their funny bones today for Comic Relief and I’m very proud of them for raising money for such a worthwhile cause."
Since Comic Relief was launched in 1985 it has raised more than £1.25 billion for charity - working to eradicate poverty in the UK and across the globe.
