CHILDREN and parents shared the joys of learning together in events across the borough during national Family Learning Week this week.
The Redbridge Institute teamed up with Redbridge Libraries to hold parent and children's classes in Chinese caligraphy and oragami along with story-telling sessions at six libraries in the borough including South Woodford, Hainault, Gants Hill and Ilford Central Library.
Around ten families turned up to take part in the activities at South Woodford library on Monday, October 8, and Maria Sotritou at the Redbridge Institute said, "They found it fun to learn together."
Throughout the week around 100 families enjoyed learning together.
