Here is Leyton Green Towers back in 1964.

Tower blocks, first built after World War II, were once loved for their fantastic views and ability to house so many.

So it's 2019 - how does it look today?

We can reveal it looks exactly the same.

We also have an image of Highams House Girls School in 1963.

Today it is Woodford County High School.

Thank you to Vestry House Museum picture archives and Wanstead Historical Society for allowing us to use the images.
