A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering from an acid attack.
The incident occurred on Kingston Close, Marks Gate, Ilford on Friday, August 2.
Officers were called to the scene by the London Ambulance Service shortly after 9pm following reports that a man had been attacked with a noxious substance.
Emergency services found the victim in his 20s suffering from wounds to his arm and face with potentially life-changing injuries.
He was rushed to an East London hospital for treatment of injuries that are consistent with a corrosive substance attack.
His condition is not thought to be life-threatening. No arrests have been made.
