A bridge in Walthamstow is set to close to allow repair work to be carried out.
The bridge that crosses Wood Street will be closed to cars sporadically over the following few months to allow engineers to strengthen it.
Pedestrian access will remain open across the bridge throughout the work.
Network Rail is due to complete the engineering work which will involve temporary road closures.
The first of these closures will be from 10pm on Friday September 13 until 4am on Monday September 16. Wood Street will be closed at the bridge.
Traffic diversions will be signposted on nearby roads including Lea Bridge Road, Leyton Green Road, Hoe Street, Forest Road and Woodford New Road.
