A community transport service is encouraging people to make use of its service which runs twice a week across the district.

Epping Forest Community Transport runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from the Two Brewers pub in Chigwell to Epping High Street.

The service begins at the Chigwell pub at 10.01am, where passengers can ‘Hale and Ride’ between stops at the following locations:

Grange Hill Station (10.05am), Manor Road (10.08am), Limes Farm community office (10.12am), Hainault Road (10.17am), High Road, Chigwell, via Chigwell Station (10.21am), Epping Forest Retail Park (10.30am), The Broadway, Debden (10.35am) and Epping High Street (10.45am).

A return journey from Epping High Street then leaves at 12.45pm before finishing up at the Two Brewers pub at 1.30pm.

Epping Forest Community Transport manager Angela Canham said: "We would like to raise awareness of the Chigwell bus services - route CP03 - which provides easy access transport for people from the Chigwell area to both the Epping Forest Retail Park in Langston Road and also to Epping.

"With the service running on a Monday, as well as a Wednesday, shoppers can be in Epping for the town's weekly Monday market."

The CP03 service is free for Chigwell residents and is a working in partnership between Epping Forest Community Transport and Chigwell Parish Council.

Anyone wishing to use the service should give their name and address to the driver or to Chigwell Parish Council and they will be sent a Chigwell Pass.
