A DRIVER escaped death when his car left a main road on the Chingford/Enfield border, overturned and ended up in the middle of a busy roundabout just after midnight this morning.
Firefighters from Enfield, Chingford and Edmonton, paramedics and police attended the crash at the junction of Lea Valley Road and Mollison Avenue.
Police managed to keep the surrounding roads open as ambulance crews treated the casualty.
