The decision which was pushed through by the majority group (without any support from across the chamber) at the extraordinary council meeting can only have two outcomes, a lot more development within the close environs of our very special Forest and therefore an increased need for the implementation of a Clear Air Zone (CAZ) on the proposed routes outlined within the strategy a few years down the road.
It’s my view that the first consequence, the increased development directly results in the second, the increased likelihood of a CAZ.
It is also a decision making process that tells us all a lot about the current culture of EFDC and how the majority group choose to exercise their undoubted political dominance.
