Detectives investigating an Ilford doubled killing have charged a woman with perverting the course of justice

Aurika Sivolova, of Prince Regent Lane, Plaistow, was charged via postal requisition notice on Monday, February 15 with committing an act/series of acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice.

The 53-year-old is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Friday, May 28.

The charge follows a double fatal stabbing on Sunday, January 10.

Both victims, Lithuanian nationals, were found suffering stab injuries at an address in Tavistock Gardens, Ilford.

Post mortem examinations found the cause of death for both men was stab injuries.

Both the victims are Lithuanian nationals – their next of kin have been informed.

* Vytautas Garmus, of Prince Regent Lane, E13, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 13 charged with the murders of Dainius Kulboka, 44 and Jonas Semenas, 45.

The 51-year-old is next due to appear in custody at the Old Bailey on Monday, March 4.
