One man has been arrested and another hospitalised following a stabbing in east London last night.
Police were called to Newport Road in Leyton shortly after 9pm on Tuesday, February 16.
A man, said to be in his 20s, was found at the scene suffering from stab wounds.
He has been take to hospital for injuries which are said not to be life-threatening.
Another man was arrested and detective are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Waltham Forest MPS tweeted: "Officers were called to Newport Rd in Leyton just after 9pm.
"A man, believed to be in his 20s, had been stabbed. He's at hospital & his injuries aren't life threatening or life changing.
"A man has been arrested.
"If you saw anything, please call 101 or tweet @MetCC ref 7008/16FEB."
