World Book Day may have been different for many children this year who were unable to be in school with their classmates due to the coronavirus restrictions, but that didn’t stop them making the most of the opportunity to dress up to mark the occasion.
Last week’s annual celebration of books and imagination saw children from across the area get into the spirit whether they were in the classroom or joining virtually from home.
Due to the circumstances this year, we are asked schools to send us a montage of their pupils rather than individual pictures.
Scroll through this page to see those we received from Cooks Spinney Primary Academy and Jerounds Primary Academy, both in Harlow, Hillhouse CofE Primary School, Waltham Abbey, Our Lady & St Georges Catholic Primary School, Walthamstow, and West Hatch High School, Chigwell.
