Many Remembrance services were cancelled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This year services have returned with events taking place in East London and across the county.
Remembrance parades will be taking place in Chingford, Walthamstow, Ilford and Leytonstone on Sunday, November 14.
Chingford
A Chingford Service will take place from 10am on the London Fire Brigade Forecourt, The Ridgeway.
A two-minute silence will take place at Chingford War Memorial at 11am and the remembrance service will take place at St Peter and St Paul’s Church from 11.15am.
Leytonstone
A parade made up of members of The Royal British Legion will form in Leytonstone from 10am in the B&M car park, followed by a service at 10.50am with at the Harrow Green Cenotaph.
Walthamstow
A Walthamstow Civic Service will take place at the William Morris Gallery at 10am, the remembrance service will start at 10.50am at the Walthamstow War memorial.
Ilford
The Redbridge community will have the opportunity to show their respects at the Remembrance Sunday ceremony in Ilford War Memorial Gardens from 10.30am.
Redbridge Council added: “Residents can support and show gratitude to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women who served in the two World Wars and conflicts.”
