Two years after a man was killed outside a nightclub, police are offering £10,000 in hope to find two men.
Ricardo Fuller, 24, was stabbed outside a nightclub at High Road, Ilford, where he was attending a friend’s 30th birthday party on March 7, 2020.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but died there at 11.40am.
Five suspects were quickly identified after the stabbing and it was established these men fled the country before they could be arrested – in April 2020 the Crown Prosecution authorised charges against the men and since three have returned to the UK and await trial.
But detectives still need to locate two men: Ahmed Sesay, 29, of Boundary Road, East Ham, and Abubaker Tarawally, 24, of an unknown address.
Detective Chief Inspector, Kelly Allen, said that “Ricardo’s family deserve to know” what happened as investigations continue.
She added: “It is vital that we locate these men so that they can be brought back to the UK to face trial. My message to them is, do the right thing. Contact police.
“Likewise, I am appealing to their family and friends; they cannot have gone two years without making contact – you know where they are. Put yourselves in this grieving family’s place and think about what you would want.”
The chief inspector said that her team “will not stop” until everyone involved has been taken to court and said “it is only a matter of time”.
As a result, a £10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the location and extradition of the two.
Last year, Ricardo’s mother said in a statement that he has been “denied of so many things,” and that “life will never be the same”.
Anyone with information is asked to call 0208 345 1570 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously through 0800 555 111.
