SPURS defender Younes Kaboul has vowed to stay and fight for his place under Juande Ramos after recent reports linked him with a move to French champions Lyon.

The French Under-21 international has been confined to a place on the bench at Tottenham since the arrival of Jonathan Woodgate in January, but according to his agent, the former Auxerre player will snub any offers to establish himself as a regular at White Hart Lane.

"Younes is happy at Tottenham, but the only problem at the minute is that he is not playing enough," agent Rudy Raba told skysports.com. "His first priority is to stay and fight for his place unless Spurs decide to sell him.

"He was bought by Martin Jol and then Juande Ramos comes in and he has not played under him that much. It is his first season in England and he has made a few mistakes, but you do not become a bad player overnight."

Lyon are reportedly waiting in the wings should Kaboul change his mind, and a bid in the region of £5million is said to be the figure in mind.
