A man has been charged with murder after a body was found in a park.
Police rushed to Goodmayes Park in Redbridge last Thursday (October 20) to reports of an unresponsive man.
The unidentified man, believed to be 60, was confirmed dead at the scene.
Marius Ziugzda, 46, was charged on Sunday (October 23) after being arrested on Thursday.
The suspect, of no fixed abode, will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, October 24).
Enquiries are still under way to contact the man’s next of kin, Metropolitan Police have said.
