A fourth man has been charged with the murder of a Turkish disc jockey who was killed after an abduction.

Junior Kettle, of Kingsdown Road, Islington, is charged with two counts of kidnap and one count of murder after the death of Enfield DJ Koray Alpergin.

Kettle, 33, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday (November 7) where he was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on January 6.

Mr Alpergin, 43, was taken against his will from Ebony Crescent in Enfield and was later found dead near Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate in Loughton, Essex, on October 15.

He regularly performed at Turkish restaurant Laz Camden, in Camden Town. He previously owned Clicia café in Stoke Newington and was the founder of London-based Turkish stations Bizim FM and Kral FM.

A woman, understood to be his girlfriend, was also reported as missing after his disappearance and was found unharmed.

Three people have previously been charged with murder and kidnap.

This includes Erdogan Ulcay, 55, of Oakeshott Avenue, Camden; Ali Kavak, 25, of De Quincey Road, Tottenham; and an unnamed 17-year-old boy.

The three are also due to appear at the Old Bailey on January 6.
