A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after a crash on the A12 early today (Thursday).
The Metropolitan Police said they were called after the rider, a man in his 30s, came off at the Green Man Roundabout near Wanstead at around 2am.
The northbound section of the motorway was closed between Green Man Tunnel and Blake Hall Road, Transport for London statement said.
The London Ambulance Service also attended.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital and is in a in a critical but stable condition.”
The A1008 Blake Hall Road is closed both ways between Felstead Road and Cambridge Park Road with delays due to crash investigation work. The A12 is also partly closed. There is a detour in operation for buses 101, 145, 308, W13 and W14.
