A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with indecent image offences.
PC George Patmore, who was attached to the North East Command Unit, was charged and bailed on November 8.
The charges against Patmore include three counts of making an indecent image of a child, one count of possession of extreme pornography and one count of publishing an obscene article.
Patmore was arrested on July 9 and suspended from duty.
He is now set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (December 22).
