A recently discovered photo of Station Road, Chingford, c1900 showing the premises of Alfred Blaxland and Victoria House.
The shop advertised it was ‘the first grocery store on the left after leaving the station’.
A purveyor of biscuits and cakes and unsurpassed for teas and coffees.
Today the premises are occupied by a charity shop.
