Two men were subsequently arrested and a further power tool dating back to a burglary in 2020 was also recovered.
Thames Valley Police has advised motorists to always avoid parking in dark and secluded areas even if this means an extra 10-minute walk from a well-lit and busier street.
Electronic devices can also be used to jam the electronic signal from your key fob to lock your vehicle.
Motorists should check the vehicle has locked before walking away.
