Whitehall Road, Chingford, c1930, at the Ching Bridge looking towards Chingford.
To the left is the boundary fence of White Hall, a large country house demolished in the late 1930s from which the road takes its name.
The bridge was later replaced and widened in the late 1930s.
The cottages on the right still remain and housing now occupies the old White Hall grounds.
