Several people were injured after a crash in a busy dual-carriageway.

Police were called to A406 North Circular at the A112 Crooked Billet underpass in Walthamstow at 3.40pm yesterday (August 18).

The London Ambulance Service also attended the scene after several people sustained non-critical injuries.

A police spokesperson confirmed that no arrests were made following the incident.

The North Circular was closed eastbound at Crooked Billet underpass, forcing cars to divert off the slip roads, with queues backing up all the way to Palmers Green.

The westbound section of the dual carriageway was also slow from Waterworks Corner in South Woodford.
