There have been severe delays on some trains running through east London this morning.

Operator c2c has reported that a fault on a train between West Ham and Barking earlier today (December 11) means that all lines are blocked.

Trains running across the whole c2c network may be cancelled or delayed as a result.

On X, c2c said that passengers can use the District line using their tickets instead until further notice.

National Rail said that disruption is expected until around 11am this morning.

It comes on the same morning as some Tube services were delayed in east London.

TfL has said that there are severe delays on the Central line from Leytonstone towards Epping and Hainault due to a shortage of trains.

Minor delays have also been reported on the rest of the line.

Tickets will be accepted on bus services, the Elizabeth line between Shenfield and Paddington, and Greater Anglia services between Harlow Town and Liverpool Street.
