Advertising boards can be seen on the train embankment at Chingford Railway Station in 1960.
When built in the 1870s, Chingford had two through platforms for the onward journey to High Beech and beyond.
This never happened and the track was cut back to the station in the mid-1960s to make way for the bus terminal.
