Hi everyone, my name’s Peter and I’m a one-year-old boy looking for a home to call my own. I came into the National Animal Welfare Trust as a stray in February, so the team here don't know anything about my past.

They do know that I’m quite a shy lad and have been trying my best to hide away as much as possible. I’m a very sweet boy but just need a home where I feel safe enough to come out of my shell and grow in confidence.

I can live with older children who’ll respect my space and give me time to warm to them. I don't want to live with other cats or dogs though as that would be very scary.

Watford Observer:

When I’ve settled in, I’d like outdoor access so I can stretch my legs and find the best places to sunbathe! A cat flap would be great as then I could come and go as I pleased.

Watford Observer:

We cats are notorious for disliking change and need plenty of time to adjust to a new environment, especially a nervous or timid cat like me, but I’m sure with your patience I’ll get there. It might be a good idea to establish a quiet ‘safe room’ away from busy areas of your home until I settle in.

If you could give me the forever home I deserve, apply for me today. Email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0711 (option 2) to arrange for us to meet.
