Bewdley Museum

Location: 13 Load Street, Bewdley, DY12 2AE

The description reads: “The Bewdley Museum is situated in the heart of Bewdley near to the River Severn and backing onto the idyllic Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens.”

“It's been nicely put together, a few bits for the kids to do as well as a cafe, and some little shop units.

“We didn't spend ages on the occasions we visited, but it's free - so we went there twice during our time in the area.”

Bodenham Arboretum

Location: Wolverley, Kidderminster, DY11 5SY

Bodenham Arboretum is “a collection of over 2700 trees set in 156 acres of countryside with 11 pools, four miles of footpaths and a working farm.”

One visitor took to Google Reviews to say: “I love this arboretum. It’s a stunning place to explore and the five-pool walk is a lovely place to stretch the legs.

“There’s a working farm yard to visit about halfway round which keeps my son happy and we also enjoy feeding the fish at the main lake. They host some fab seasonal events too which are worth keeping an eye out for”.

Hanbury Hall Garden

Location: School Road, Droitwich, WR9 7EA

At National Trust’s Hanbury Hall, you can enjoy the “formal 18th-century garden with fruit trees”.

A visitor commented on Google Reviews, saying: “Lovely house and gardens and would love to go back in summer. Lots of grounds for walking. The wall painting is breathtaking inside and the grandeur of the house is visible from the outside.”

Cob House Country Park

Location: Waterside, Upton upon Severn, WR8 0HG

Enjoy “great food” and look out for animals here. You can also enjoy walks with your furry friend.

A visitor posted to Google Reviews and said:  “This place is very good. Ample free parking with no height restrictions. A good large cafe with inside and outside seating. Toilets. There are fishing lakes, walks, and animals including goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, donkeys, alpacas and reindeer.

“All are free to go and see. Highly recommended. Beware it can be very muddy after rain.”

Burford House & Garden

Location: Tenbury Wells, WR15 8HQ
