A major bridge in London has been closed for five hours after a crash between a cyclist and a lorry.
The incident happened on the north side of Chelsea Bridge just after 8am today (June 19).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene and found a man injured.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
Chelsea Bridge will remain closed until further notice.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “On Wednesday, 19 June at 08:09hrs police were called to Chelsea Bridge, SW1 following reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a lorry.
“Police attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a man on scene.
“The man was taken to hospital, their condition was assessed as non-life threatening/changing.
“At this early stage, enquiries are still ongoing. There have been no arrests.
“Chelsea Bridge will remain closed until further notice.
“If you saw, or have any information that may assist then please come forward to police stating CAD 1564/19Jun.”
