This old and overgrown cottage once stood on The Ridgeway, Chingford.

It was last owned by L W Richard, whose family owned the property for many generations.

Chingford Town Hall was built in the 1920s (Image: Gary Stone)

It was demolished in the late 1920s to make way for the new Town Hall.
