The Crooked Billet Pub on Chingford Road, seen here c1910, was first mentioned way back in 1742 and rebuilt in 1930.
The Crooked Billet stood close to the new North Circular Road and Walthamstow Greyhound Stadium.
The pub was demolished in the 1980s due to road widening.
