Waltham Forest Council is among the highest ten authorities in the country for its revenue from residential parking permits over the last five years, according to new data.
The figures, sourced by Cinch, are taken from Freedom of Information (FOI) requests to all 218 upper-tier councils in the UK.
Waltham Forest is one of 128 councils to have responded to the request regarding their revenue from residential-only permits from 2020 to 2024.

Out of all 128 respondent councils, Waltham Forest was number eight in the list of top ten councils by revenue from the permits during this period.
The FOI revealed that within this timeframe, the council accrued £16,744,131.
Waltham Forest Council did not respond to a request for comment on the figures.
