Established in 2006, ASK Care has been providing exemplary domiciliary home care for almost two decades.
The company has gone from strength to strength over the years – from providing home care for adults in Redbridge, to expanding their services to cover children, seniors and complex care requirements across multiple boroughs.
“Thanks to our extensive experience, we can provide specialised and bespoke care for our clients,” explains Sareena Siera, director at ASK Care. “Whether you live in Waltham Forest, Newham, Epping Forest, Havering or Barking and Dagenham, we’re always on hand to provide compassionate, professional care.”
We talk to Sareena about ASK Care’s range of services, the specialist training their staff receive and how they are improving the home care landscape.

The lifeblood of ASK Care’s services is the exceptional home care provided by fully trained care assistants. From basic living support to highly specialist care needs, ASK Care have the capacity to ensure that all of their clients can live a fulfilling life.
A major aspect of their provision is personal care – escorting clients to outdoor activities or helping with their shopping, preparing meals and feeding assistance, and ensuring oral and bodily hygiene are just a few of the daily tasks that the care staff can assist with.
“Alongside personal care and respite provision, our staff are fully prepared to undertake complex care needs,” shares Sareena. “This ranges from acute brain injuries to neurological conditions requiring a highly specialised system of care – from administering medications to helping with movement.
“Our cutting-edge day centre has received heavy investment over the last few years, allowing us to provide outstanding day care services. Transport is fully provided for all clients, all personal care requirements can be met onsite, and we have capacity for up to 15 people at once.
“Whether our clients have learning difficulties or neurological conditions, our day centre is fully equipped to make life joyful for all!”

The development of staff skills and capabilities has evolved alongside the expansion of the care agency. ASK Care’s Training Centre ensures that all staff can update their existing knowledge and skills, as well gain specialist qualifications for clients requiring bespoke care plans.
“We have a dedicated training room for running tailored courses,” reveals Sareena. “Our staff undergo training for oral health, stoma care, mobility and much more. If we have clients that have very specific conditions, we organise external specialists on these conditions to teach our care assistants.
“As well ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality care possible, its important to us that our team are able to upskill and reach their full potential!”

As well as providing a truly empathetic service for the community, ASK Care are committed to extending the spirit of understanding to their staff members. The organic growth of the agency ensures that maintaining effective care on a grassroots level is paramount to the business.
“Whether its organising coffee morning is our day centre for clients and their families, or getting involved in charity events to support our staff, we are constantly investing time and resources into safeguarding our industry” adds Sareena.
Sareena’s background in voluntary care is a fantastic boost to this approach – making sure the families of clients are regularly contacted, staff have the time off and recovery that they need, and the future of care continues to develop beneficially.
