Two men have been charged with conspiracy to murder after a woman was found injured after gunshots were heard in Walthamstow.

Reports of gunshots were made to the Metropolitan Police at 12.17am on September 29 in Howard Road.

At the scene, a 36-year-old woman was found injured and was taken to hospital.

Demaine Mason, 35, of no fixed address was arrested on October 28 and charged the same day with conspiracy to murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He was remanded in custody after appearing at Thames Magistrates' Court.

Mohammed Kashif, 20, of Calshot Road, Birmingham was arrested on November 4 and charged this morning (November 6) with conspiracy to murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He remains in custody and is due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court today.
